How to Contact Brendan and Book Your Hunting Safari
Contact Brendan directly via email or by using the automated form below. All inquiries are answered within 24 hours. If you haven’t received a reply, please check your spam or junk folder.
We do not require a deposit to secure your hunt. Payment is only due at the end of your safari, typically via card. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.
Booking Process to Contact Brendan
- Dates are agreed upon via email, and your booking is confirmed immediately.
- Airline reservations must be confirmed approximately eight months in advance to secure and roll your booking forward.
- For bookings made less than eight months in advance, we require confirmed flight reservations within two to three weeks.
Hunt Duration & Scheduling
- Package hunts run for eight days, excluding arrival and departure.
- Bookings are organized in three blocks per month:
- 1–10
- 11–20
- 21–30
- Each block includes arrival and departure days.
Flights & Travel Recommendations
- If traveling with rifles, we recommend the Airlink flight from Johannesburg to Port Elizabeth. The best option is the 10:30 am Airlink flight, arriving around noon, with the same mid-morning return flight.
- If you are not carrying rifles, you are welcome to use any airline with a similar mid-morning arrival schedule.

How Afton Lodge Meet & Greet Works
- A representative meets you on arrival at the airport.
- They assist with luggage collection and firearm clearance.
- Guests are transferred directly to Afton Lodge for a comfortable overnight stay.
- On departure, they return you to the airport and help ensure smooth firearm check-in.
Firearm Permits
If Gracy Travel is not handling your rifle permits, we recommend Henry Durheim, who ensures all firearm paperwork is correctly processed for hunters entering South Africa.

Today, Brendan brings more than 15 years of experience as a Professional Hunter, a Dangerous Game License, and a career that includes nearly 90 buffalo hunted (83 to date) and multiple roles as PH on lion hunts.
His calm attitude, field knowledge, and dependable shot placement quickly earned him a reputation as one of the top PHs in the Eastern Cape, with repeat clients frequently requesting him by name and refusing to book unless he was available.
An avid outdoorsman, Brendan also represented Border Province in deep-sea bottom angling and game fishing for three years. His love for both the bush and the ocean continues to shape his unique approach to the outdoors.
Brendan has access to the full suite of plains game species across the Eastern Cape, thanks to his long-standing relationships with surrounding landowners, conservancies, and game reserves.
This ensures that clients can pursue a wide variety of high-quality animals—from common plains species to premium trophy opportunities—across diverse and well-managed hunting terrains.
